I've been lucky enough to work with awesome clients on every project. My kids are starting to keep track of each job because by the end we end up all being friends!
One of the first things we're doing in this project is adding a bathroom to the walk out basement. The space we're fitting it is currently a cement slab mechanical room. We'll need to keep part of the space as a water treatment room. My client also wanted to keep the washer dryer in the bathroom. This was a challenging bathroom to layout and fit everything we needed!
It will be a dark space and without a lot of natural light so I want to use bright white shiplap surrounding the walls. Shiplap adds a lot of character to simple space. We're going to have our painter spray it before installing it so it has a very uniform look. If the budget allows we're going with Corian milled to match the shiplap and extend into the shower. We're also going with a frameless door into the mechanical room. This will really open up the space and keep the eye moving along the lines of shiplap.
Here are the inspiration/material boards with drawings.
